               Samuels Langhorne Clemens better known as 'Mark Twain' is among one of the greatest American writers who is best known for his novels Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. During his life, the great humorist and observer of the world surrounding him quite often reflected upon the psychic and metaphysical events of which he knew about. His quotations are very famous. During his life he became friends with presidents, industrialists, actors, musicians, etc.

               During his time he had achieved a lot of popularity and his satirical writing and keen wit had earned him praise for both critics and peers. Some even called him the father of American literature. He first became a journalist, and then from there he started to shift from journalism to travel writing. This happened before he became a fiction writer.
