It is not that difficult to create glue or gum for sticking purpose at home. Start of by adding ¼ cup of cold water to ¼ cup of wheat four in a bowl and whip until the mixture is perfectly smooth.
Add to it ½ teaspoon of powered alum, along with ¾ cup of hot water. Put this mixture heat over an average flame and keep stirring continuously till it starts boiling and thickens. Remove it from the heat, add to it approximately three drops of clove oil or camphor and mix well. Let this mixture cool of before using it. Save this mixture in a small tightly sealed container.
Traditionally, glue generally referred to protein colloids created from animal tissues, but over the period of years the meaning has extended to any kind of glue-like material which is applied to fix one material to another.
