What Happens To Human Body During Electric Shock?

Since our muscles are controlled by electrical impulses, the result of the shock is that our muscles contract very tightly and at the same time the resistance our body is causing to the electricitys path to ground makes our tissues start to heat and ultimately cook depending on how well we are grounded and where the path is through our bodies.

Some of the factors of how severe the shock is: The amount of voltage on the circuit, how well we are grounded, where we are grounded, the path of the electricity through us,how tight is our connection with the circuit, and what kind of health are we in at the time.
