Of course the infamous "SHOUT" song it fun, Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On", that's a good one for when the groom is taking the garter off his new wife ;) and it's a guaranteed laugh.  You could also do songs like the Hokey Pokey, Chicken Dance, and the Macarena (sp); it may sound strange but we did those at my wedding and you'd be surprised at how fun those can be for all ages!

I would go with love songs that would be great and always use the couple favorite song.

The electric slide is one of my personal favorites. Its great for the people who know it, and the people who don't will have fun trying. My mom told me that's what they played at her wedding. She was having a blast trying to learn it.

"You Made Me So Very Happy" - Blood, Sweat and Tears, not much of a dance song, but it's romantic without being sicky sweet.

I have loved this song for 18 years!  You still can't beat it for a good wedding song. "Now and Forever" by (the late) Luther Vandross!!  Super love song.

The most imortant song that should be included is the couples favorite song or (their song). There are lots of great songs that can be fun. Dance to the music is a fun song and most adults and children are familiar with it. Some others are maybe a slide song like the electric slide or cha-cha slide which is easy to do and most DJ's have them readily available. Lovin Feeling is good and romantic, Let's Dance is a classic, most classic 80-90's rock or disco songs work well because everyone knows most of them. Like lets get excited Celebrate. The macerena song is also a very lively song still. (You'd be surprised)

The 80's & 90's have a plethora of songs for all ages.  It si important that the couple could identify with the songs.  But having gone to a wedding of a couple of twentysomethings recently, there are a couple of songs that hit a soft spot in me:  "A very special Love" & "Nothing's gonna stop us now".  Boy, they had fun singing together with both songs.  Kinda gives you the warm fuzzy feeling about the day itself..:)

Oh and one other thing...I'd say Barry White's "My first, My last, My everything" is for keeps, too.
