I have gone through 7-10 tattoo removal sessions and yes it does help. Have you noticed when you finish the area throbs? That is blood rushing to the area, not only would I recommend the Ibuprofen but check with your doctor a topical lidiocane cream can allow you to sit through the process (aka emla cream) if I didn't have the cream I couldn't sit through one session. I have a tat being removed from my upper arm, and also had laser surgery on my neck for a port wine stain birthmark, Gook Luck!
