I-pod is the latest product of a portable media player which has been designed and created by apple computers and was released in 2001. An i-pod mainly comprises of music players, which have been made around a central scroll wheel.

The full-full size versions of the I-pod have an internal memory to store media on, where as the smaller ones like the I-pod nano and i-pod shuffle use flash memory to store media. Like numerous other digital audio players, I-pods can be used as outer data storage devices. Around October 2005, a new range of 5th generation I-pods were released, these new versions could play videos; the I-POD nano and also I-POD shuffle were also released during this time.
