My dog is itching. He has bald spots where he's been scratching. He has flakes on his skin. He's still playing around and acting the same but he just won't stop .scratching.

Sounds like ringworms or mange, it's hard to say for sure, buy you can either call a vet shop and talk to them to see what they recommend, or you can take him in, but either way, sounds like he's ready to quit itching. Hope this helps, good luck.

Are you sure it's not fleas you can buy treatment to see if this helps but some solutions go by body weight so he will need to see the vet

Well your dog may have fleas so you may want to get him checked out. That happened to my dog last year. Also sometimes when we give my dog a bath he would start itching and we realized that the shampoo made his skin dry so we switched shampoo!! And if you don't give your dog a bath or don't use shampoo then give him a good brushing,.......he may have dry skin underneath all that fur. I hope this helped you:)
