How Do I Remove Kitchen Border Glued On From Wall?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Use a putty knife or something similar to start a place where you can pull the border off at. Remove the top layer of the border. Then put some hot water in a sprayer or spray bottle. Wet the remaining border, let it sit for about two minutes, then use a putty knife to scrape it off. You will probably be able to just pull it right off once you get it started, unless it was put up with some other type of adhesive other than wallpaper glue.
If part of what you sprayed starts to dry before you get it off, then just re-wet it.
