Who Developed Populous?

The game Populous was developed by Bullfrog in the year 1989. It comes under the genre of 'God Games'. It was touted as the best seminal god game at the time of its release. The game was published by Electronic Arts (EA). The game also won't the Origins Award for the 'Best Military or Strategy Computer Game of the 1990s. The game was extremely successful; the fame also resulted in two new instalments of the game, the new games were titled as Populous II and Populous: The Beginning.

The first game for the series was developed for the Amiga, Atari ST and PC. The game gives the player complete control over human lives, in this game the player is playing the role of a sacred deity and has the responsibility of controlling the people, directing them, manipulating them and also making them do various things through divine intervention.
