    Established in 1886, Johannesburg or also known as Joburg, is the largest city in South Africa. It is the capital of province Gauteng. Gauteng Province is also the wealthiest province in South Africa. Johannesburg is also one of the 40 largest metropolitan areas in the world and still Johannesburg doesn't forms any of the three capitals of South Africa. Johannesburg is the source of a large-scale gold and diamond trade and Its Area is 1,644.96 km2 (635.1 sq mi). Talking about Demography of this rich city, Black Africans account for 73% of the population, followed by whites at 16% and coloureds at 6% and Asians at 4%.
