Can You Tell Me Where A Money Order Was Cashed At?

The only way you can track a money order is to either go to the place where you purchased it or, if you have the money order number, you can check to see if the issuing company (Western Union, US Postal Service, etc.) has a website to track it.

So after reading these questions... I'm trying to find the solution...

My situation is that i'm supposed to get a money order but I haven't received it yet. I'm getting nervous but the person who sent my the money order said he did. We both are thinking that we either one of us is cheating us. I know i haven't recieved the payment yet and I emailed him to give me a receipt of the money order to ensure that he actually sent it out. So i'm thinking if he did sent it out..what if my money order got into the wrong address. I want to know if someone can cash it under my name since they probably have to sign my name on the back...f so, it would be like identity theft right? Lets say the clerk at the liquor store didn't check for the id..and the theif got away with my money..can i find who took my money?
