Should I PDA, What Would I Use It For?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A PDA or Personal Digital Assistant, is a small electronic device that is often attached to your computer or your telephone.  It stores data such as contacts or calendar information.  These days they can be used for accessing the Internet via wireless fidelity (wi fi) communications, this is full Internet and is dependent upon the size of your screen.  Most PDAs have a stylus to touch the screen with or  a keyboard as part of the device.  A stylus or touch screen by finger are probably better, but the chance of losing the stylus are greater than the chance of losing your finger!  Most PDA devices also support the tranfer of MS Office files, for reading through and proofing or correcting your work on the move.

Palm make a great range of PDAs.

The real question is do you need one? They look cool, but between your brain, your computer and your phone, do you really need another device?
