It's one of those things, "easy if you know how" You ISP will have allocated you space for your own web site. There are many programs which you can use to make up your pages. Some are quite easy to use but some are so complicated. Many are free to download. I think I used Dream Weaver a long time ago. Getting the page up onto your web space is difficult too. But there are programs for this too which make it a lot easier. Google (creating your own website ) for some good tips and directions.

Making your own website can be hard, but not when some websites provide all the info and things you need to make your own website.
I recommend you check out www.yola.com (used to be called synthasite). They provide everything for you to make a website, there is no required knowledge you need to know, just basic drag and drop.
They give free sub domain, which is yoursite.synthasite.com but you can buy a domain from them for only like 20 dollars a year.
You basically dont even need to know any coding or anything, its so simple.
