What do you consider to be good ethics in all facets of your life?

For myself (and hopefully for others), I practice honesty, integrity, taking responsibility for my actions, always doing the best I can in any endeavor, loyalty, compassion and forgiveness. I know it sounds like a lot, but I find that one thing leads to another. Sometimes those things can be awfully hard, but they can also become second nature to you, and they've worked well for me.

That's a nice list of ethics. I think we ALL should practice from this list! The forgiveness one is hard for me sometimes.

One should be well mannered regarding what he does and what he speaks. The most important things is giving respect to all the human beings without any discrimination. To be honest with one's ownself and with others should be the primary concern.

Wouldn't that be wonderful if everyone didn't discriminate against people different than themselves? Thanks for your comments.

I just stick as close to the commandments as i can. That way i will not go far wrong. Even for a non believer it is a recipe for existing in peace with his/her fellow man. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Your code of ethics is nice but if your motivation is not from Jesus Christ it's empty. I tried doing things right, treating people right etc., but it didn't last long. People are sometimes mean and unappreciative so you need something to fall back on, a purpose, a motivation, an identity. These come from Christ, he's your strength, your reason, your all. Faith w/o works is dead as is works w/o faith. You must be grounded in Christ.

Work hard, show respect, look out for you and yours. Try to make a change in the world, raise your children (Don't let them raise you)

Share, be open to others. Don't force yourself, your way of life or your beliefs on others.

For me actions speak louder then words. All that praying is cool but the world is still a mess. Still starving and hungry people, still people without water, still wars etc. Most of them in the name of someone's GOD. People need to get past all that and actually look out for each other in the here and now. Stop taking advantage of people. Taking from the poor and making the rich richer.

Driving our BIG SUV's while people in the countries that we get the oil from can't even afford dinner!

Bush claims he is grounded in Christ. Yet he is dropping bombs on a country (IRAQ) that did nothing to us! We need to fix that BIG time.

This is the thing I hate. Cause I may not believe in what you believe in now you don't respect me? Or you want to kill me! That is stupid!

As the song says! "All we need is love!" LOL!
