FDR's programs although were good intentioned for the country did little to change the slumping economy. In almost all aspects his pumping money into the economy and trying to create jobs to put an end to the slump failed. The real mayjor reason we came out of the depression in the late 30s and early 40s was completely due to our gearing up and entering the world war theatre.

Well when WW2 came along many people had to fight in the war. Some women took over the men's jobs and most people were helped!
