That's a good question. There are a multitude of reasons that ghosts appear on cameras. Some do it just to let you know they're there. Others do it to grab your attention. At my friends New Years Eve party we were taking pictures. In quite a few photos we could see a wispy white figure in the background. No one was smoking, no one was cooking , no candles nothing that I know that could produce a smoky spot like that was in the room where we took the pictures.
