    HIV is the stands for the human immunodeficiency virus. HIV is the virus that becomes the reason of AIDS, AIDS stands for acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, and HIV suffers the body's immune system. Usually, the immune system makes white blood cells and antibodies that attack viruses and bacteria. The infection-fighting cells are known as T-cell lymphocytes.  When a person is suffered with HIV and months or years pass, the virus breaks the T-cell lymphocytes.

    When the T-cell lymphocytes are broke, the immune system can no longer save the body from diseases and tumors. Much type of infections known as opportunistic infections create that takes benefit of the body's weak immune system. These infections would not usually become the reason of a few or fatal health diseases. But, when you have AIDS, the opportunistic problems eventually become the reason of death because your body can no longer save itself against these viruses. AIDS is the stage of the body being overwhelmed by opportunistic infections or tumors.
