How Long Does A Golden Retriever Usually Live For?

I am interested in the longevity of the golden retreiver breed of dog.

Ten years is old.  Large breed dogs are considered geriatric at 5-6 years of age.  They can live longer than 10 years, however into their teens they are getting very old.  Good Luck!

My dog is seven and my mom doesn't think he has much longer but he still acts like he did when he was a puppy (except for the hyperness).
