Usually i recommend people to buy at straight at some warehouses as you can get the best of what you want and at very low prices

Carboots - You can get second hand goods at very low prices!
ASDA - They do good furniture!
Argos - They do very good stuff, pick up the catalogue! It's worth a browse!

Local woodcutters - they do nice wooden tables and all sorts and are very reasonable with their prices.
Warehouses - Do good stuff and can be very cheap.
And look on ebay! - they can do fab stuff!!!

I guess it all depends on what type of furniture your looking for.....I find very nice pieces at furniture consignment stores. Normally high quality at decent prices.

The best place to buy furniture nowadays is by shopping online.A few of the companies I like shopping with are: Www.ikea.com and www.timelesselements.com I like reliable companies to shop with and these guys really have great quality products. Shopping online gives me the convenience as well. I like specialty store like timelesselements.com because they have exotic pieces to everyday pieces that I use.

I would agree, both Craigslist.org and eBay.com are great for used furniture -- you can definitely find some deals. For new furniture, find what you like and then price compare online. You'll find many a online furniture store will offer the items cheaper as they don't have the overhead of expensive furniture showrooms.
