 Davos is a small town which is located in the eastern region of Switzerland. It is located in the canton (Federal States of Switzerland) of Graubunden. It is based on the Landwasser River. The district is known Prattigau/Davos. The Co-ordinates of the town is 46°48′N 9°50′E. The population of the town of Davos is roughly around 11,000. The area of the town is 254.48 km². The town of Davos resides at an elevation of 1560 m. Davos has become a paradise for skiing and ice skaters. Majority of the tourists that arrive at Davos for skiing are either from the United Kingdom or the Netherlands. Although it is the most happening and leading tourist destination, the town of Davos is very low profile in its own. |
