Before installing the dvd-r-rw drive remove the plastic covering located above the floppy drive. Now remove the side panel of the CPU, place the drive in the section which was covered by the plastic.
Connect the dvd-r-rw to the IDE cables and the electric connection cable; attach the Rom to the cabinet with the help of screws. Fix two screws on each side of the ROM so that it stays balanced. Now attach the side section of the CPU, and put all the connections in back. Now put your processor on and check if your ROM is functioning.
After you have checked the ROM and it's completely functional, install the software which you get along with Drive and you can start writing DVDs and CDs.
