After The Former Soviet Union, Which Is The Largest Country In The World?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Before the collapse of Soviet Union, Canada was the largest country in the world.  After the year 1990 in which the Soviet Union came to a horrifying breakup, Canada became the biggest and largest country of the world in terms of area.  With the exception of Alaska, Canada occupies the entire northern region of North America.  It is a marvel that Canada is the same size as the entire continent of Europe put together but the number of people living in Europe are twenty five times more as compared to the number of people living in Canada.  Nearly the entire population of Canada resides in the south region of the country as it is warmer and more convenient for living and travelling.  One half of the entire state is forested.  The total area of Canada is 3851809 square miles and the capital of the country is Ottawa.  The official name of Canada is actually Dominion of Canada.
