Saga holidays, which is an insurance and travel company in the UK ,which caters mainly to the more elderly holiday makers, and offers them holiday packages, and insurance to go with it, has an agreement to licence the Virgin brand from Sir Richard Branson.
Branson, whose start was as a record producer and promoter, took a gamble that paid off on Mike Oldfield orginally, and then built the Virgin music brand, which he then sold at its peak. Branson has been involved in everything from wedding frocks to airlines.
Virgin Airlines is the main image maker for the brand, and has been it's most successful, taking on the giant British Airways, and becoming their main competition.
