What Should I Write On My Essay To Get The Inter Ship?

Well....first of all, what does "inter ship" mean?  Oh!!  I get it!!  It's actually "internship"!  You are applying to be an intern for some business or individual, right?

The first thing I would advise you to do is brush up on your spelling, punctuation, and general grammar skills.  Also, get good at proof-reading.  Don't rely on spell-check to do your thinking for you.  Spell-check doesn't tell you if you used the right word; it only tells you if the words you used are spelled right.  Get the difference?

Next, find out as much as you can about the business or other entity - like a government agency - that you want to intern for.  Make sure that the education and experience that you have fits the business you are applying to, and will help you make some kind of valuable contribution to that business or entity, and make that the focus of your application essay.

Get some help from someone who knows about that type of business, be it a law office, or city council member's office, or whatever it may be.  Bring a first draft of your essay, and have that advisor look it over and suggest changes.  Go from there.
