I Have R.a. And On Methotrexate Inj, But It Does Not Seem To Work.

    You do not say how long ago you started this treatment.  With RA, most treatments take some time to make a difference.  Is methotrexate the only treatment you are having? You need to discuss this with your rheumatologist.

    I WAS DX. IN MARCH STARTED ON PILLS THEN 4 WKS AGO ON INJ .8ML . ALONG WITH PREDNISONE THIS WHOLE TIME 20MG X3ADAY THEN DOWN TO 15-20MG DAILY IF I GO LOWER I HURT SO BAD IT WAKES ME UP AT NITE CRYING HE HAS GICVNG ME PAIN PILLS THEY DON'T WORK? I TAKE VIT C B6 B12 ZINC D E FOLICE ACID FLAXSEED

    Sounds like you are having a nasty flare-up. Would he consider increasing your prednisolone for a while, or trying a stronger pain killer?
