Are There Any Icons Or Idols In The Religion Of Buddhism?

I am new to Blurtit and would like to ask questions but I am not sure how to fill in the ask question section on the site itself.

    I know that in korea it is a reversed swasika and korean buddist munks wear dark red and grey robs

      Yes there are icons and idols in Buddhism. Buddhism is a set of teachings that are described as a non-theistic religion and a body of philosophies influenced by the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, known as Gautama Buddha who is an icon and whose idols are worshiped.

      Not correct. There is no worshipping activity in the Buddhist practise (although some individuals and cultural movements do this.) The Buddhist practise is a psychological practise aimed towards a stable mental health. There is simply no need for worshipping.
