Explain Why The Fastest Climber Might Not Have The Highest Power Rating?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    The fastest climber might be lighter than one with a higher power rating.

    Power = energy/time = (force*distance)/time

    If (distance/time) is the same, power is related to the force that must be exerted. Lighter weight means less force.
