If the human race where extinct then we all would be dead. I think that there would be no global warming and the animals would live alot longer due to us not killing them and destroying there habitat.

The Earth would turn into a world of life, caring, and adventure. Right now, we humans are selfish and do not think of the consequences of over-hunting, pollution, global warming, etc.
I'd love if we were all dogs or something different, but no. I guess humans will be the smartest, and will dominate Earth, eventually leading it into destruction.
