What Is The Difference Between Mycoplasma Infection And Walking Pneumonia?

I was diagnosed with Mycoplasma infection. I looked it up on the Internet and it says that it can cause walking pneumonia. I asked for the symptoms and it gives me the symptoms for Mycolplasma infection. I asked what the difference is between them and it says 'infection is pneumonia'. A nurse told me that it wasn't walking pneumonia that it is a bug. So I need to know exactly what Mycoplasma infection is if it's not walking pneumonia and what the difference is. Thank you.

Mycoplasma Infection can lead to walking Pneumonia. There is no difference as such between the two. Mycoplasma Infection is caused by a bacteria Mycoplasma pneumoniae. And when it worsens it takes the form of Pneumonia. Its symptoms are also same as Pneumonia. I.e  fever, cough, bronchitis, sore throat, headache and tiredness.
