Can I Save My Rojo Congo (Philodendron)?

I planted a Philodendron in my garden in full sun because I didn't read the tag. I've now put it in a pot in full shade and have been watering it everyday. Will it come back from the brink and what else can I do to save it?

You have to make sure that it is planted in a pot through which good drainage is possible. If the plant is now placed in the right light, then it would revive slowly. You have to take care not to water it too much as that can also cause damage. It should be kept away from dust and should be wiped occasionally.

The light is a very important factor as it shouldn’t be under direct heat but nor in a place which is too dark. The light has to be moderate. If the plant is not growing, it would mean that it doesn’t have enough light. They should not be watered too much, that too has to be moderate. They should not be watered too much especially in the winters. The yellowing up of leaves would be a sign that they are watered more than needed. You should fertilize them once a month in spring and summer seasons.
