What Is An .mdb File..can I Directly Create A Table In Ms Access Without .mdb File Extension?
I am creating a new table in MS access. I have seen that for old tables created by others there are .mdb file extensions in C:\. But there is no such file created for the new . Should i created an extension or it automatically gets created. Pls let me know what is an mdb file and other info about this?

MDB file is the database format created in Msaccess. It is not necessary to create an extension, once you save the file it will store in MDB format.
