How One Can Add Border To A Picture By Using Photoshop?

Picture borders are used to make the image look unique. Following are the steps that will help in adding border to a picture by using Photoshop.

Step 1:
Open Photoshop application and insert or import the picture on which border is needed.

Step 2:
In order to make border around the whole picture go to menu and open the Select and click "Select All".
In order to make border around a specific area make use of the Selection tool in the toolbar and select the desired area.

Step 3:
From the Select menu go to Modify and then click Border. After that a box will appear and select the size of boarder with respect to pixels.

Step 4:
Find the color palette on the top right corner of the screen. Click on the top of the square or box and pick a border color and then click OK.

Step 5:
Go to Edit menu and select Fill after that the box will appears and select the option to apply to the border.

Step 6:
Press OK to see the border. If the results aren't the desired one then go to edit menu and select Undo and then try again.

Step 7:
To save the picture; go to File menu and select Save As.
