Soil Degradation occurs when soil loses its physical components due to various reasons. There are many forms of soil erosion. For convenience sake these can be divided into 3 categories which are:
1. Increase of specific soil chemicals that are harmful for plant growth.
2. Soil erosion which causes reduction in volume and mass of soil.
3. Depletion of Physical, chemical or biological components of soil.
