Yes, just plug your ipod into your computer,
click on my computer icon on your destop
there should be a device called ipod or something like that there
open it, find the mp3s you dont want and delete them,

I tried that but thanks to apple being apple they don't like people moving the songs around.   I believe that they want you to buy a new ipod when the old one is full.  Also. unlike other mp3 players the ipod names the tracks with a random lettering which can be a little confusing.

I asked a friend of mine who has an ipod and
he said to download itunes, and sync it to your ipod
then it will allow you to delete or add tracks on your ipod.
