    Sleeping is a very important part of our lives, but there are some people out there who have many long sleepless nights, and these are the people who suffer from insomnia.

    Insomnia is a common thing and it will affect the majority of people throughout some time in their lives. Basically, Insomnia is a condition where you have trouble sleeping at night. The symptoms are things such as, being unable to fall to sleep, or waking up lots of times in the night.

    Things which may effect a person could be down to what they drink, eat, and what time they generally do this. Things such as caffeine and alcohol can keep a person from relaxing. Also having coffee late at night will keep your brain active making it harder to fall to sleep. If you eat spicy foods before bed, this can be another reason that you may be having trouble getting a good night sleep. There are products to help you if you do suffer from Insomnia, but it is important to consult a doctor before taking any medications.

      Insomnia is a condition that causes difficulty in falling asleep, or in staying asleep once you do it. Waking in the middle of the night or waking too early in the morning and not being able to get back to sleep is also insomnia. Even when you sleep a full night and yet wake up feeling like you have not slept at all, this is still another form of this problem.

      1. More women than men suffer from insomnia.

      2. Older adults over age 60 suffer more frequently from it.

      3. Insomnia is the third most frequent health complaint.
      (Pain is first and headaches are second)

      4, People with Insomnia are more apt to acquire alcohol or drug dependence.

      5. People with insomnia have an increased risk of mortality>

      6. There is help for this and it can be cured.
