Wordsworth greatest of romantic poets was born on 7th of April 1770.He is known for his highly imaginative  use of Nature. He gives high place to one's freedom.He has created his own relegon of nature.

William Wordsworth was a key English romantic poet born on April 7, 1770. He along with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, started the Romantic Age and published a joint venture in 1798 called, Lyrical Ballad. The death of his mother 1778, followed by the death of his father who was a solicitor and lawyer for Earl of Lonsdale 1783 and separation from his siblings left him depressed and lonely. Writing helped him over come this problem hence it is said this was one of the main reasons that he became a poet.

He was the second child in the family followed by three more. After the death of their parents they were left under the guardianship of their uncles.  Wordsworth attended St, John' college, Cambridge 1787 and completed his graduation in 1791 without distinction.
