    It is very bad on your body and mind.
      Sleep is one of the most important things our bodies need. After a human has been asleep for around 3 hours, the brain releases chemicals that go throughout the body to destroy harmful bacteria or virus's that we may have come into contact with during the day. After that, the brain releases other chemicals for optimum body and brain performance.
       Scientists say that a person would actually die if they went totally without sleep for about four days, I think it is.
      Lack of sleep can also produce hallucinations.
       I have trouble sleeping due to pain. Have tried several different things including prescription sleep aid. Many sleep aids can become addictive.
