Most recently a petitioner against the government in Pakistan expressed the trepidation of the imposition of another martial law in Pakistan. Nevertheless his fears were addressed by the counsel of the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry, who stated that these fears were illusionary and nothing like that would take place in Pakistan.
He backed his declaration with the overt evidence of the warm and heartening response that the Chief Justice received from people all over Pakistan on his visits to various Pakistani cities, stating that such a passionate people would never let their freedom be restricted by the imposition of a martial law. Nevertheless the petitioner, whose name is Abdul Mujeeb Pirzada, further argued that the government had committed deliberate clunkers in its 'apparent' attempt to resolve the judiciary crisis by its unwanted intervention, when in all actuality, it was only the gratuitous involvement of the government, which had worsened the judiciary crisis in Pakistan.
