    A hierarchical organization is an organization in which every entity in the organization except one is subordinate to the other single entity. This is the common structure in the large organization among large organizations. The term hierarchical is given to the organizations because it means 'rule by priest' and the concept is originated from church. Nowadays, there are various forms of hierarchical structure which the organizations follows and these structures determine the decision making process in the organizations.
