    Normally a brief low point in business turnover, is called a lull in business. The word lull comes from the same root as lullabye meaning to sing to sleep.

    A drop in business could be used, so could a fall in sales. Business is in the doldrums is another, which refers to an area of ocean that all sailors dread.

    So you choose, they can all be used to describe this unfortunate state of affairs, which can happen to any business at any time, and often has nothing to do with your product or service.
    However I hope this is not happening to you!
