What Does Faro Mean?

    The word Faro is defined as a blend of equal parts of two parts of Iambic beer. The Iambic beer is sweetened by adding sugar, and it is also sometimes coloured and diluted by adding water to the mixture. It is almost an extinct beverage now. In Italian, Faro is the local name or appellation for the island of Sicily, one of the two large islands off the coast of Italy that are a part of a country.

    Faro is also a card game which involves heavy gambling. In a game of Faro, the players place bets against the person who has dealt them the cards on the cards he will draw from a dealing box. The District of Faro is a district located at the southernmost tip of Portugal. The city of Faro is the capital of the district of Faro.

    In Mande mythology, Faro was known as the one who purified the earth to atone for a sin committed by his twin Pemba. He did so by sacrificing himself.
