    How Can I Fix My Used Laptops HP Compaq Nc6220 Card Reader Error?

    In beginning it was perfect but later starts to give problems. While booting, prompt a MSG "insert smart card" or "Smart card authentication is enabled bt supported smart card reader was not detected, to start the system supported smart card reader must be properly configured". I never had smart card inserted in it neither set any property. But if keep trying to reboot, it starts and no problem after that. I took it to laptop repairer shop. Guy was telling me that its a stolen notebook that's why its doing so. I replace hard disk and CMOS. What to do?

    Place a pen or something with a similar height under the lower left had corner of the notebook. You will need to experiment about the height.This counteracts the tendency of the motherboard to warp under excessive heat.

    Hi:

    If you get this message you are using the wrong version of Windows.

    You must use only the exact version that the notebook came with.

    Order the recovery DVD from HP.

    Or install Vista Full version ONLY.
