Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The best comparison of stellar brightness is absolute magnitude , which is the apparent magnitude all stars would have if they were at a uniform distance of 10 parsecs (about 32.6 light years). This would put them all on an even footing.
