Can Anyone Please Tell Me Something About The ‘Police Band’?

The Police are a popular three piece rock group and the members of this group are vocalist Sting, guitar player Andy Summers, and percussionist Stewart Copeland. The band turned internationally in style in the near the beginning of 1980s, playing a fashion of rock that was influenced by reggae and punk music. Another album 'Synchronicity' by this group got fame both in the England and America. The band collapsed in the mid 1980s. The band reunited in 2007 to present at function. They declared they will be doing a tour jointly in 2007-2008 and performing at the Live Earth concert in July 2007.

This band was established by Stewart Copeland in early 1977 and following the downfall of his progressive band Curved Air, Copeland was worried to figure a new three piece. Vocalist Sting and guitar player Henry started practicing with the Copeland in January 1977, and they taped their opening song, 'Fall Out/Nothing Achieving', the next month.

As with a number of other worldwide acts of this period, the band earned too soon fame in Australia during their first Australian visit. The group as well had their first worldwide hits in Australia ahead of attaining fame in other nations.
