      Plants use glucose for:
      • Growth
      • Energy (both immediately and stored as starch)
      • To make cellulose (the main component of the  cell wall of a green plant )
      • It can be joined together with nutrients from soil to make proteins
      • Can be converted into fat and oil for seeds
      • Can be converted into fructose for fruit

        It is used for growth some is stored  as starch   and builds up the cell wall
