Pounds are units of force. Grams are units of mass. If we assume that you are talking about the force due to gravity of a mass on the surface of Earth or some other similarly restricted condition you can use a conversion factor. For mass on the surface of Earth:
Multiply lbs by 453.5924 to get grams
multiply grams by 0.002204623 to get lbs
