Sorry to hear about your broken engagement.

There are a couple of things you should keep in mind, number one is that you may be angry at men in general and are judging these guys rather harshly. Under normal circumstances these guys might have seemed OK but with the way you feel right now Superman wouldn't pass muster. Don't worry about this, you'll start seeing things differently after your heart has had some time to mend.

Number two is (please forgive me for saying this) you may be looking for love in all the wrong places. If you are finding guys in bars, the only thing you can be sure of is that this guy likes to drink. Expand your horizons a bit and spend time in places where guys with the qualities you like can be found - like smart ones? Spend more time in the library. Like outdoors types? Do some backpacking.

Ironically the best but most difficult way to find the right guy is to not look for one. Work on making yourself happy, improve your life so that you enjoy each day more and Mr. Right will find you. Best of luck!

Maybe it's a little too soon to be looking for someone period. It's only been 2 months and you should take some time to find you instead of finding a relationship. Have fun and date but if I were you I wouldn't try to get too involved right now.

My two cents? Never settle! If you want to know where to find a person that may peak your interests? Go to places where people do the things you like to do. Are you a health nut? Go to the gym, start chatting people up about their exercise routines. You a handy man kind of person? Hang around Lowes and ask advice from people you see getting supplies. More into the stay at home watch a movie crowd? Go to the rental store and ask guys for advice about good movies.

It's hard putting yourself out there, but the best person for you isn't necessarily the one that looks like Mr. Pitt. Find someone you can have a good and coherent conversation with!
