Are There Any Yellow And Black Poisonous Snakes In Oklahoma City, OK?

I live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There is a fairly big field across the street from my house, but besides that, I live in a huge city with a school and lots of convienent stores close by. I recently seen a snake that was black with yellow on the top of its body. I need to find out what kind, if it was poisonous, and how I can get rid of it - as soon as possible.

I have searched and there are no black and yellow poisonous snakes in Oklahoma. There are non-venamous snakes that have black and yellowish markings. I would not attempt to catch these yourself. I would contact your local animal control company and get them to remove the snake.
There is a venamous snake called the Western Pygmy Rattlesnake that has black stripes with a browny orange stripe in between the black stripes. Makes sure its not this. As they are poinsonous.

its not a pygmy trust me hes talking about a bull snake I'm sure and i would just leave them alone and not worry about it the only thing they do is take care of the real rodents which are nasty field mice that can spread nast germs all over your house so the snakes are just doing you a favor and are completely harmless to you or anything other than a mouse...i would not worry about venomous snakes in your area you will be warned of any dangerous snakes you may encounter if they are around which they are probably not in Oklahoma city unless you are somewhere far from people and even then they are not easy to come across. venomous snakes are pretty hard to come across in the wild and will soon be extinct
