Ive had a cat for several months now. He is litter trained and was when we adopted him. Recently ive noticed a clear goop around his eyes, hes been very demanding for attention (which he'd normally rather play) and hes gone #2 OUTSIDE of his litter box 2x today which he has not done since day 1. The first time it was pretty solid, the second mess was a puddle...any ideas, im terribly worried and would appreciate some sort of expertise???

I am not an expert on cats, but the eye discharge sounds worrying, and may be why he is missing his box. The change in behaviour also indicates that he is ill. I think you should take him to a vet.
