Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are currently in India are currently filming for the movie "A Mighty Heart". The film is based on a memoir written by Mariane Pearl in 2003 for her husband Daniel Pearl, the memoir was written in the year 2003. The character of 'Daniel Pearl' is played by 'Dan Futterman'. The character of Mariane Pearl is portrayed by 'Angelina Jolie'. The movie is actually set in Karachi, Pakistan. However due to security reasons the filming is being done in Pune, India.

Daniel Pearl was an American Journalist who was kidnapped by the National Movement for the Restoration of Pakistan Sovereignty (NMRPS) militants. He was kidnapped while investigating illegal links between the NMRPS, Al-Qaeda and the Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). He died a very brutal death; the militants cut slit his throat because the United States did not meet their demand. He passed away on the 1st of February, 2002 in Karachi Pakistan.
